Śaineya’s Breakthrough and Reunion with Arjuna (शैनेयस्य समागमः)
गते सैन्यार्णवं भित्त्वा तरसा पाण्डवर्षभे । संजयैकरथेनैव युयुधाने च मामकम्
gate sainyārṇavaṁ bhittvā tarasā pāṇḍavarṣabhe | savyasācīrjunenaiva yuyudhānena cāpi me ||
Sañjaya disse: “Tendo rompido com rapidez o meu exército—como se fosse um vasto oceano—e forçado a entrada, o mais eminente dos Pāṇḍavas, Arjuna Savyasācī, juntamente com o nobre herói sātvata, o grande guerreiro de carro Yuyudhāna, avançando como se fossem amparados por um único carro apenas—uma vez que penetraram em nossa formação, já não vejo esperança de que as forças que me restam possam resistir.”
