Transliteration

tatadāśritrāṇi śubhrāṇi sumahānti mahārathāḥ

Translation

Sañjaya disse: Então os grandes guerreiros de carros, tomando posição atrás daquelas coberturas protetoras, alvas e resplandecentes, de tamanho imenso, avançaram na batalha—buscando vantagem tanto pela defesa quanto pela força, em meio ao caos moral da guerra.
