तमापततन्तं सम्प्रेक्ष्य पाण्डवानां महारथा: । अभ्यवर्तन्त वेगेन भीमसेनपुरोगमा:,उस हाथीको आते देख भीमसेन आदि पाण्डव महारथी शीघ्रतापूर्वक उसके चारों ओर खड़े हो गये
tam āpatatantaṃ samprekṣya pāṇḍavānāṃ mahārathāḥ | abhyavartanta vegena bhīmasena-purogamāḥ ||
Disse Sañjaya: Ao ver aquele elefante investindo contra eles, os grandes guerreiros de carro dos Pāṇḍavas—com Bhīmasena à frente—avançaram com rapidez e tomaram posição ao seu redor, enfrentando o ímpeto com coragem disciplinada e firme propósito de proteção em meio ao caos da guerra.
