Chapter 89: Bhīma dispatched to protect Ghaṭotkaca amid escalating engagements
आर्या युद्धे मतिं कृत्वा न त्यजन्ति सम संयुगम् यथोत्साहं तु समरे निजघ्नुस्तावका रणे
sañjaya uvāca | āryā yuddhe matiṁ kṛtvā na tyajanti sama-saṁyugam | yathotsāhaṁ tu samare nijaghnus tāvakā raṇe, rājan |
Sañjaya disse: «Os guerreiros nobres, tendo firmado a mente para a batalha, não abandonam o combate em igualdade. Contudo, ó rei, nessa luta os teus homens eram abatidos no campo conforme o ardor pleno dos atacantes. Mesmo ao cair, os teus soldados não fugiam do combate; apoiados no melhor juízo treinado pela guerra, mantinham-se firmes, enquanto os teus campeões também, com zelo completo no campo de batalha, continuavam a matar o inimigo.»
