यथावच्च तम भ्यर्च्य ब्रह्मा ब्रह्मविदां वर: । जगाद जगत: स्त्रष्टा परं परमधर्मवित्‌,ब्रह्मवेत्ताओंमें श्रेष्ठ, परम धर्मज्ञ, जगत्‌स्रष्टा ब्रह्माजीनी उन तेजोमय परम पुरुषका यथावत्‌ पूजन करके उनकी स्तुति की

Transliteration

yathāvac ca tam abhyarcya brahmā brahmavidāṁ varaḥ | jagāda jagataḥ sraṣṭā paraṁ paramadharmavit ||

Translation

Disse Bhīṣma: Tendo-O adorado devidamente, Brahmā—o mais eminente entre os conhecedores de Brahman, criador dos mundos e supremo conhecedor do dharma—então falou, oferecendo louvor àquela radiante Pessoa Suprema.
