Shloka 37

ततस्तस्मिन्‌ क्षणे राजंश्वोदितो वानरध्वज: । सध्वजं सरयथं साक्षर भीष्ममन्तर्दधे शरै:,राजन्‌! इस प्रकार भगवानसे प्रेरित होकर कपिध्वज अर्जुनने उसी क्षण अपने बाणोंद्वारा ध्वज, रथ और घोड़ोंसहित भीष्मको आच्छादित कर दिया

tatas tasmin kṣaṇe rājan śvodito vānaradhvajaḥ | sadhvajaṃ sarathaṃ sākṣar bhīṣmam antardadhe śaraiḥ ||

Disse Sañjaya: “Então, ó Rei, naquele mesmo instante, Arjuna—cujo estandarte traz o macaco—ergueu-se e, com uma rápida chuva de flechas, velou por completo Bhīṣma, junto com seu carro e sua bandeira.”
