Transliteration

taṃ śikhaṇḍī raṇe yāntam abhyadravat daṃśitaḥ

Translation

Disse Sañjaya: Quando ele avançava no campo de batalha, o guerreiro encouraçado Śikhaṇḍī investiu diretamente contra ele. Esse ato ressalta o ímpeto implacável da guerra e o ataque deliberado a um ponto vulnerável no dilema moral e marcial de Bhīṣma.
