अर्जुनदुःखहेतुप्रश्नः — Inquiry into the cause of Arjuna’s recurring hardship

धूतपापो जितस्वर्गों मुमुदे भ्रातृभि: सह । इस प्रकार पृथ्वीके मूल्यके रूपमें वह सुवर्ण देकर राजा युधिष्ठिर अपने भाइयोंसहित बहुत प्रसन्न हुए। उनके सारे पाप धुल गये और उन्होंने स्वर्गपर अधिकार प्राप्त कर लिया

dhūtapāpo jitasvargo mumude bhrātṛbhiḥ saha |

Vaiśampāyana disse: Tendo seus pecados sido lavados e assegurado o direito ao céu, o rei Yudhiṣṭhira rejubilou-se junto com seus irmãos. Ao dar aquele ouro como preço da terra, sentiu profunda satisfação.
