Āśvamedha-dīkṣā-nirdeśaḥ — Scheduling the Initiation and Assigning Protection for the Horse
The verse highlights dharmic restoration: rightful rulers return to the seat of governance supported by ministers and well-wishers, with prosperity (the treasury) handled openly and responsibly—suggesting that stable rule depends on ethical administration and trusted counsel.
After the events leading into the Aśvamedhika context, the Pāṇḍavas, accompanied by their ministers and allies, enter their capital. The mention of the treasury going in front underscores the re-establishment of royal administration and the public, orderly resumption of state affairs.
