पाण्डव-वृष्णि-समागमः तथा अश्वमेध-अनुज्ञा | Reunion at the Kuru Court and Authorization of the Aśvamedha

मन:प्रह्लादनश्वासीत्‌ सर्वलोकस्य भारत । नरेश्वर! इस प्रकार नामकरण हो जानेके बाद तुम्हारे पिता परिक्षित्‌ कालक्रमसे बड़े होने लगे। भारत! वे सब लोगोंके मनको आनन्दमग्न किये रहते थे

manaḥ-prahlādanaś cāsīt sarva-lokasya bhārata | nareśvara! evaṃ prakāre nāma-karaṇaṃ kṛte sati tava pitā parīkṣit kāla-krameṇa vṛddhiṃ jagāma | bhārata! sa sarveṣāṃ lokānāṃ manāṃsi ānandamagnāni cakāra |

Vaiśampāyana disse: “Ó Bhārata, ele tornou-se fonte de deleite para o coração de todo o povo. Ó rei, depois de assim ter sido realizada a cerimônia de nomeação, teu pai Parīkṣit, no curso natural do tempo, cresceu até a maturidade. Ó Bhārata, ele mantinha continuamente a mente de todos os homens repleta de alegria.”
