Marutta Seeks Saṃvarta’s Priestly Support; Conditions, Truth-Discipline, and Rival Powers
स त्वं बृहस्पतिं गच्छ तमनुज्ञाप्य चाव्रज । ततो<हं याजयिष्ये त्वां यदि यष्टमिहेच्छसि,“अतः तुम बृहस्पतिके पास जाओ और उनकी आज्ञा लेकर आओ। उस दशामें यदि तुम यज्ञ कराना चाहो तो मैं यज्ञ करा दूँगा”
sa tvaṃ bṛhaspatiṃ gaccha tam anu jñāpya cāvraja | tato 'haṃ yājayiṣye tvāṃ yadi yaṣṭum ihecchasi ||
Vyāsa disse: “Portanto, vai a Bṛhaspati; obtém a sua permissão e retorna aqui. Então, se de fato desejas realizar um sacrifício nesta situação, eu o oficiarei e farei cumprir o rito por ti.”
