Adhyāya 62: Marutta’s Treasure and the Pāṇḍavas’ Auspicious Departure (मरुत्तस्य धनप्राप्त्युपक्रमः)
षष्टिं शतसहस्तराणि ब्राह्मणानां महौजसाम् | विधिवद् भोजयामास भोज्यं सर्वगुणान्वितम्,उन्होंने साठ लाख महातेजस्वी ब्राह्मणोंको विधिपूर्वक सर्वगुणसम्पन्न उत्तम अन्न भोजन कराया
vaiśampāyana uvāca | ṣaṣṭiṁ śata-sahasrāṇi brāhmaṇānāṁ mahaujasām | vidhivad bhojayāmāsa bhojyaṁ sarva-guṇānvitam ||
Disse Vaiśampāyana: De acordo com o rito, ele alimentou sessenta centenas de milhares (isto é, seis milhões) de brāhmaṇas poderosos e radiantes, servindo-lhes comida excelente, dotada de todas as qualidades desejáveis—cumprindo assim o dever dhármico da hospitalidade generosa e da dádiva sacrificial.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
