यद् दुर्लभं हि लोकेडस्मिन् रत्नमत्यद्भुतं महत् | तदानयेयं तपसा न हि मे<त्रास्ति संशय:
yad durlabhaṁ hi loke 'smin ratnam atyadbhutaṁ mahat | tad ānaye'yaṁ tapasā na hi me 'trāsti saṁśayaḥ ||
Gautama disse: “Qualquer joia neste mundo, por mais raríssima—maravilhosa e grandiosa—posso trazê-la pelo poder da austeridade. Disso não tenho dúvida.”
