कālacakra-वर्णनम् तथा āśrama-धarma-निरूपणम्

संस्कारै: संस्कृत: पूर्व यथावच्चरितव्रत: । जातौ गुणविशिष्टायां समावर्तेत तत्त्ववित्‌

Transliteration

saṃskāraiḥ saṃskṛtaḥ pūrvaṃ yathāvac caritavrataḥ | jātau guṇaviśiṣṭāyāṃ samāvarteta tattvavit ||

Translation

Vāyu disse: “Primeiro, tendo sido devidamente refinado pelos sacramentos prescritos, deve-se viver corretamente a disciplina do brahmacarya, estudando segundo a regra védica. Depois, o conhecedor da verdade deve completar o rito de graduação (samāvartana) e entrar na vida de gṛhastha, casando-se numa família distinguida por nobres qualidades.”
