Bhīma’s Harsh Speech Heard by Dhṛtarāṣṭra and Gāndhārī
The verse frames ethical instruction as coming from a qualified authority: Vyāsa, the foremost knower of the Veda, speaks again to Yudhiṣṭhira. The implied teaching is that dharma in difficult times is clarified through the guidance of realized sages and scriptural wisdom.
Vaiśampāyana narrates a transition: after some prior statement, Vyāsa resumes speaking and addresses Yudhiṣṭhira again. It signals the continuation of counsel or instruction within the Ashramavāsika context.
