Gāndhārī’s Petition for a Vision of the Departed (गान्धार्याः प्रार्थना—दिव्यदर्शनप्रसङ्गः)

सहदेव: प्रियस्तस्या: पुत्रेभ्योईधिक एव तु

Sahadevaḥ priyastasyāḥ putrebhyo ’dhika eva tu.

Yudhiṣṭhira disse: “Sahadeva era querido por ela — de fato, mais do que seus próprios filhos.” No quadro ético da narrativa do Āśramavāsika, a linha ressalta que afeto e confiança podem transcender o sangue, revelando o poder silencioso do caráter e do serviço em sustentar os laços em meio ao luto e à renúncia.
