Adhyāya 32: Tāpasānāṃ Darśanaṃ — Ascetics Seek to Identify the Pāṇḍavas
मेनिरे परितोषेण नृपा: स्वर्गसदो यथा । सारी रात एक-दूसरेके साथ घूमने-फिरनेके कारण उन सबके मनमें बड़ी प्रसन्नता थी। स्वर्गवासियोंके समान ही उन्हें वहाँ परम संतोषका अनुभव हुआ
menire paritoṣeṇa nṛpāḥ svargasado yathā |
Vaiśampāyana disse: Os reis sentiram profundo contentamento, como se fossem habitantes do céu. Tendo passado toda a noite a caminhar e conviver na companhia uns dos outros, suas mentes encheram-se de alegria, e ali experimentaram uma satisfação suprema.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even amid the sorrowful aftermath of conflict, dharmic companionship and mutual goodwill can restore inner balance; shared, peaceful conduct becomes a source of ‘heaven-like’ contentment without dependence on external power or victory.
Vaiśampāyana describes the kings spending the night together, walking and conversing in one another’s company; this shared time produces great joy and a sense of supreme satisfaction, likened to the experience of heavenly beings.
