Adhyāya 32: Tāpasānāṃ Darśanaṃ — Ascetics Seek to Identify the Pāṇḍavas
पुत्रैश्न पुरुषव्याप्रा: कुरवो<न्ये च पार्थिवा: । इस तरह वे सब पुरुषसिंह कौरव तथा अन्य नरेश गुरुजनों, बान्धवों और पुत्रोंके साथ मिले
putraiś ca puruṣavyāprāḥ kuravo 'nye ca pārthivāḥ |
Vaiśampāyana disse: Assim, os Kurus — leões entre os homens, diligentes nos deveres varonis —, juntamente com outros reis, reuniram-se e encontraram seus anciãos, seus parentes e seus filhos.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharma expressed as social and familial responsibility: even powerful rulers are bound to honor elders and maintain kinship ties, meeting together with sons and relatives in accordance with established duties.
Vaiśampāyana describes a gathering: the Kurus and other kings, vigorous and duty-bound, come together accompanied by their sons—implying a formal meeting that includes seniors and family members, emphasizing collective participation and respect within the royal and familial sphere.
