जगमदग्निर्वाच स्थिरं चापि चल॑ चापि जाने त्वां ज्ञानचक्षुषा | अवश्यं विनयाधान कार्यमद्य मया तव

Transliteration

Jamadagnir uvāca: sthiraṁ cāpi calaṁ cāpi jāne tvāṁ jñānacakṣuṣā | avaśyaṁ vinayādhānaṁ kāryam adya mayā tava ||

Translation

Jamadagni disse: “Quer teu intento seja firme ou vacilante, eu te reconheço com o olho do verdadeiro conhecimento — tu és o Sol. Portanto, hoje devo certamente impor-te disciplina, para que te estabeleças na humildade e na conduta correta.”
