नक्षत्रेषु श्राद्धफलविधानम् (Śrāddha Outcomes According to Nakṣatras)
A king should actively cultivate dāna-dharma; specifically, the verse urges earnest effort toward suvarṇa-dāna (donation of gold), presented as a meritorious act grounded in ancient authoritative teaching.
Bhīṣma concludes a prior account by stating that the sage Vasiṣṭha once narrated to Paraśurāma the story of gold’s origin and its significance, and then he turns to exhort the royal listener (a Kuru prince/king) to practice gold-giving.
