Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
तद् वै सर्वानतिक्रम्य देवदानवराक्षसान् | मानुषानथ गन्धर्वान् नागानथ च पक्षिण:
tad vai sarvān atikramya devadānavarākṣasān | mānuṣān atha gandharvān nāgān atha ca pakṣiṇaḥ ||
Bhishma disse: “Ele a todos superará—deuses, Dānavas, Rākṣasas, humanos, Gandharvas, Nāgas e até as aves—e, pelo poder infalível de suas armas, matará aquele Asura de quem nasceu o vosso temor. E também destruirá os outros inimigos dos deuses.”
