उत्तस्थु: सिद्धकामास्ता भूतभव्यस्य मातर: । प्रातर्नमस्यास्ता गावस्तत:ः पुष्टिमवाप्लुयात्‌

Transliteration

uttasthuḥ siddhakāmās tā bhūtabhavyasya mātaraḥ | prātar namasyās tā gāvas tataḥ puṣṭim avāpnuyāt |

Translation

Vasiṣṭha disse: “Quando seus intentos foram cumpridos, aquelas vacas se ergueram de sua austeridade. Elas são as mães do tempo — do que foi, do que será e do que é. Portanto, deve-se levantar a cada manhã e inclinar-se em reverência diante das vacas; disso, a pessoa alcança nutrição, bem-estar e força.”
