Merit and Destinations from the Gift of Cows

विधिवत पावकं हुत्वा ब्रह्मलोके नराधिप । नरेन्द्र! शिष्योंको वेद पढ़ानेवाला अध्यापक क्लेश सहन करनेके कारण अक्षय फलका भागी होता है। अग्निमें विधिपूर्वक हवन करके ब्राह्मण ब्रह्मलोकमें प्रतिष्ठित होता है ।।
Translation
Bhīṣma disse: “Ó soberano, o mestre que ensina os Vedas aos discípulos, por suportar as fadigas, torna-se partícipe de um fruto imperecível. E o brâmane que oferece oblações ao fogo segundo o rito é estabelecido em Brahmaloka. Do mesmo modo, aquele que, tendo estudado os Vedas, os transmite a discípulos versados na retidão e na justiça, também obtém um fruto excelso.”
