महता राजभोगेन पारिबर्ेण संवृत: । स्तूयमानो महातेजा भीष्मस्याग्नीननुव्रजन्‌

Transliteration

mahātā rājabhogena pāribarheṇa saṁvṛtaḥ | stūyamāno mahātejā bhīṣmasyāgnīn anuvrajan ||

Translation

Disse Vaiśaṃpāyana: Cercado por um grande séquito real e dotado de abundantes deleites próprios de um rei, o monarca radiante prosseguiu sob louvores, seguindo as fogueiras sagradas estabelecidas por Bhīṣma—mantendo-as à frente e caminhando ele atrás, segundo a devida ordem cerimonial.
