प्रतर्दनो दिवोदास: सुदास: कोसलेश्वर: । ऐलो नलश्न राजर्षिमिनुश्चैव प्रजापति:
pratardano divodāsaḥ sudāsaḥ kosaleśvaraḥ | ailo nalaś ca rājarṣir manuś caiva prajāpatiḥ ||
Bhīṣma disse: “Ouve ainda os nomes destes sábios-reis: Pratardana; Divodāsa; Sudāsa, senhor de Kosala; Aila (Purūravas); o rei Nala; e Manu, o Prajāpati. Estes, e os demais reis antigos e meritórios celebrados nos Purāṇa, são dignos de lembrança. Aquele que, erguendo-se diariamente e purificado pelo banho, recita esses nomes pela manhã e ao entardecer, torna-se partícipe dos frutos do dharma.”
