सर्वकर्मा स्वयम्भूत आदिरादिकरो निधि: । सहस्राक्षो विशालाक्ष: सोमो नक्षत्रसाधक:
sarvakarmā svayambhūta ādir ādikaro nidhiḥ | sahasrākṣo viśālākṣaḥ somo nakṣatrasādhakaḥ ||
Vāyu-deva disse: “Ele é o realizador de todas as obras, autoexistente e sempre consumado; o primeiro princípio, aquele que faz surgir a origem primordial, e um tesouro inesgotável de poder. Ele é o de mil olhos, o de olhar vasto; ele é Soma — a Lua em forma — e o sustentador e regulador das estrelas.”
