āpakṣu-kṣubhire caiva cakampe ca vasundharā | vyadravan girayaś cāpi dyauḥ paphāla ca sarvaśaḥ ||
Os oceanos e as águas foram violentamente revolvidos; a terra tremeu; até as montanhas pareceram derreter e correr em desordem; e o próprio céu pareceu fender-se em todas as direções.
वायुदेव उवाच
