ब्राह्मणा एव जायेरन् नान्यो वर्ण: कथंचन । को होन॑ रथमास्थाय जीवेदन्य: पुमानिह
brāhmaṇā eva jāyeran nānyo varṇaḥ kathaṃcana | ko hy enaṃ ratham āsthāya jīved anyaḥ pumān iha ||
Vāyu disse: “Que apenas brâmanes nasçam—que nenhuma outra ordem social surja de modo algum. Pois quem mais neste mundo, além deste homem santo, poderia ter montado aquela carruagem e permanecido vivo?”
