तथा वज्ञेण भगवानमर्षाकुललोचन: । तमापततन्तं दृष्टवैव च्यवनस्तपसान्वित:

Transliteration

tathā vajreṇa bhagavānamarṣākulalocanaḥ | tam āpatatantaṃ dṛṣṭvaiva cyavanas tapasānvitāḥ ||

Translation

Então, o Bem-aventurado—com os olhos rubros de ira—golpeou com o seu vajra, o raio. Vendo-o precipitar-se sobre si, Cyavana, fortalecido pelo poder da austeridade, manteve-se firme, pronto para enfrentar o assalto que vinha.
