त्यजैनं कलुषं भावं ब्राह्मणेभ्यो नमस्कुरु । एतेषां कुर्वतः पापं राष्ट्रक्षो भो भविष्यति
tyajainaṁ kaluṣaṁ bhāvaṁ brāhmaṇebhyo namaskuru | eteṣāṁ kurvataḥ pāpaṁ rāṣṭrakṣobho bhaviṣyati |
Vāyu disse: “Ó Kārtavīrya! Abandona esta disposição maculada e inclina-te diante dos brāhmaṇas. Se persistires em agir mal contra eles, surgirão tumulto e inquietação no teu reino.”
अजुन उवाच
A ruler must renounce impure hostility and show reverence to Brahmins; harming or maligning them is presented as adharma that destabilizes the realm, bringing political and social unrest.
Arjuna admonishes Kartavīrya to give up a corrupt intention and to bow to the Brahmins, warning that wrongdoing toward them will lead to disturbance and upheaval in his kingdom.
