ते पूज्यास्ते नमस्कार्या वर्तेथास्तेषु पुत्रवत् । ते हि लोकानिमान् सर्वान् धारयन्ति मनीषिण:
te pūjyās te namaskāryā varte thās teṣu putravat | te hi lokān imān sarvān dhārayanti manīṣiṇaḥ ||
Bhishma disse: “Eles são dignos de reverência; a eles se deve prestar saudações. Conduze-te para com eles como um filho virtuoso se conduz para com seu pai. Pois os brâmanes sábios sustentam e mantêm todos estes mundos.”
