Shloka 98

उद्धव: सुन्दर: सुन्दो रत्ननाभ: सुलोचन: । अर्को वाजसन: शृज्जी जयन्त: सर्वविज्जयी

uddhavaḥ sundaraḥ sundaḥ ratnanābhaḥ sulocanaḥ | arko vājasanaḥ śṛjñī jayantaḥ sarvavijjayī ||

Bhīṣma disse: “Ele é chamado Uddhava, Sundara, Sunda, Ratnanābha, Sulocana; e também Arka, Vājasana, Śṛjñī, Jayanta e Sarvavijjayī.” Por esses epítetos, Bhīṣma enumera nomes auspiciosos que louvam o Senhor: sua encarnação por livre vontade, sua beleza e compaixão, sua forma radiante, sua beneficência para com os suplicantes, sua proteção cósmica no tempo da dissolução, e sua soberania invencível, onisciente e vitoriosa—encorajando a lembrança devocional como prática conforme ao dharma.
