अमृत्यु: सर्वदृक्‌ सिंह: संधाता सन्धिमान्स्थिर: । अजो दुर्मर्षण: शास्ता विश्रुतात्मा सुरारिहा

Transliteration

amṛtyuḥ sarvadṛk siṁhaḥ saṁdhātā sandhimān sthiraḥ | ajo durmarṣaṇaḥ śāstā viśrutātmā surārihā ||

Translation

Bhīṣma disse: Ele é imortal e tudo vê; um leão que destrói os perversos. É o Ordenador que liga os seres aos frutos de seus atos; o Possuidor das realizações do sacrifício; sempre firme e imutável. Não nascido, irresistível, Governante e castigador de todos, celebrado nos Vedas e nos śāstras, é o matador dos inimigos dos deuses.
