द्यौ: सचन्द्रार्कनक्षत्रा खं दिशो भूर्महोदधि: । वासुदेवस्य वीरयेण विधृतानि महात्मन:

Transliteration

dyauḥ sacandrārkanakṣatrā khaṁ diśo bhūr mahodadhiḥ | vāsudevasya vīryeṇa vidhṛtāni mahātmanaḥ ||

Translation

Bhīṣma disse: Os céus—com a lua, o sol e as estrelas—bem como o firmamento, as dez direções, a terra e o grande oceano, tudo isso é sustentado pelo poder do magnânimo Vāsudeva.
