दीनान्धकृपणान्‌ दृष्टवा भिक्षुकानतिथीनपि । याच्यमाना निवर्तन्ते जिह्वालोभसमन्विता:

Transliteration

dīnāndhakṛpaṇān dṛṣṭvā bhikṣukān atithīn api | yācyamānā nivartante jihvālobhasamanvitāḥ ||

Translation

Vendo os destituídos, os cegos e os miseráveis—mendigos e até mesmo hóspedes—eles se afastam. Mesmo quando esses suplicam, movidos pela cobiça dos prazeres da língua, não lhes dão alimento.
