Vyuṣṭi (Merit-Outcome) of Honoring Brāhmaṇas: Kṛṣṇa and Durvāsā
The verse highlights that divine energy (tejas) is not merely physical fire but a sacred potency aligned with Viṣṇu (vaiṣṇava). Such power, when manifested, can transform or destroy on a cosmic scale, reminding listeners that spiritual forces must be approached with reverence and restraint.
Vāyudeva explains that a formidable Vaiṣṇava radiance once emerged from his mouth, appearing like the end-of-age conflagration, and that this very force churned/agitated and scorched a mountain—describing an awe-inspiring display of divine might.
