शोधयेदशुभ॑ सर्वमाधिपत्यं परत्र च
śodhayedaśubhaṁ sarvam ādhipatyaṁ paratra ca
Skanda disse: “Que se purifique toda impureza—tanto no exercício do senhorio aqui quanto na condição no mundo de além.”
स्कन्द उवाच
Authority and success are not enough; one must actively purify moral faults. Ethical purification is required both for righteous governance in this life and for a favorable state after death.
