सिंहव्याप्रप्रयुक्तैस्तु मेघनि:स्वननादितैः

Transliteration

siṁha-vyāghra-prayuktaiḥ tu megha-niḥsvana-nāditaiḥ | tataḥ paścāt bahu-saṅkhyakā rathāḥ sānandaṁ vijaya-ghoṣaṁ kurvantaḥ pravartante | teṣu suvarṇa-mayeṣu nirmaleṣu maṅgala-kāriṣu ratheṣu deva-kanyā āruḍhā bhavanti |

Translation

Bhīṣma disse: «Atrás deles avançam incontáveis carros, jungidos a leões e tigres, ressoando como o bramido profundo das nuvens de trovão. Seguindo adiante com alegres brados de vitória, esses carros—dourados, imaculados e auspiciosos—são montados por donzelas celestes.»
