नहुषोपाख्यानम्—दीपदान-धूप-बलीकर्म-प्रशंसा
Nahūṣa Episode and the Commendation of Lamp-Gifting and Household Offerings
इत्येतां बुद्धिमास्थाय नहुष: स नरेश्वरः । सुरेन्द्रत्वं महत् प्राप्प कृतवानेतददभूतम्,इसी विचारधाराका आश्रय लेकर राजा नहुषने महान देवेन्द्रपद पाकर यह अदभुत पुण्यकर्म सदा चालू रखा था
ity etāṁ buddhim āsthāya nahuṣaḥ sa nareśvaraḥ | surendratvaṁ mahat prāpya kṛtavān etad adbhutam ||
Bhīṣma disse: “Assim, adotando essa linha de entendimento, o rei Nahuṣa —tendo alcançado a grande dignidade de Indra— praticou esse curso de conduta maravilhoso e meritório, e o manteve continuamente.”
