Chitrāṅgada’s duel with the Gandharva and Vicitravīrya’s consecration
एवंविधाश्षाप्यपरे देवकल्पा महारथा: । जाता मनोरन्ववाये ऐलवंशविवर्धना:,ऐसे ही और भी कितने ही देवतुल्य महारथी मनुवंशमें उत्पन्न हुए थे, जो महाराज पुरूरवाके वंशकी वृद्धि करनेवाले थे
evaṃvidhāś cāpy apare devakalpā mahārathāḥ | jātā manor anvavāye ailavaṃśavivardhanāḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana disse: “Muitos outros grandes guerreiros de carro—de proeza quase divina—nasceram também na linhagem de Manu, e tornaram-se os que fizeram prosperar a dinastia Aila (de Pūruravas).”
