Garuḍa–Śakra Saṃvāda and the Retrieval of Amṛta (गरुड–शक्र संवादः अमृत-अपहरण-प्रसङ्गः)
लोकसंलोडडनं घोर कृतान्तसमदर्शनम् | तमागतमभिप्रेक्ष्य भगवान् कश्यपस्तदा । विदित्वा चास्य संकल्पमिदं वचनमत्रवीत्
lokasaṁloḍḍanaṁ ghoraṁ kṛtāntasamadārśanam | tam āgatam abhiprekṣya bhagavān kaśyapas tadā | viditvā cāsya saṅkalpam idaṁ vacanam abravīt ||
Era uma presença terrível, capaz de fazer tremer o mundo inteiro, e parecia o próprio Yama, o Senhor da Morte. Ao vê-lo chegar, o venerável Kaśyapa, discernindo a intenção em seu coração, dirigiu-lhe estas palavras—prenúncio de um conselho que refreia o ímpeto destrutivo e reconduz o poder à conduta justa.
