The verse highlights the ethical ideal that a disciple’s faithful completion of entrusted responsibilities brings rightful approval from the teacher; it underscores accountability, transparency, and the value of conduct that can be fully reported without concealment.
The teacher, after being away from home for some time, returns and learns the complete account of the events that occurred in his absence; upon hearing everything, he becomes pleased, indicating that the situation has been handled satisfactorily.
