Karna’s Counsel on Strategy toward the Pāṇḍavas
वैशग्पायन उवाच ते समेत्य तत: सर्वे कथयन्ति सम भारत । अथ द्वैपायनो राजन्नभ्यागच्छद् यदृच्छया,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--भारत! तदनन्तर वे सब लोग मिलकर इस विषयमें सलाह करने लगे। राजन! इसी समय भगवान् वेदव्यास वहाँ अकस्मात् आ पहुँचे
Vaiśampāyana uvāca | te sametya tataḥ sarve kathayanti sma Bhārata | atha Dvaipāyano rājann abhyāgacchad yadṛcchayā ||
Vaiśampāyana disse: “Ó Bhārata, depois disso todos se reuniram e começaram a deliberar sobre o assunto. Justamente então, ó rei, Dvaipāyana (Vyāsa) chegou ali inesperadamente, como se por acaso.”
