गूढपाण्डवदर्शनम् — The Hidden Pāṇḍavas and Kṛṣṇa’s Visit
अयं भ्राता तव श्रीमान् दर्शनीयो महाभुज: । नियुज्यमानो विजये संगत्या द्रविणं बहु । आहरिष्यन्नयं नूनं॑ प्रीतिं वो वर्धयिष्यति,आपलोगोंके ये भाई अर्जुन तो बड़े सुन्दर और दर्शनीय हैं। इनकी भुजाएँ बहुत बड़ी हैं। इन्हें यदि विजयके कार्यमें नियुक्त कर दिया जाय, तो ये दैवात् बहुत बड़ी धनराशि जीत लाकर निश्चय ही आपलोगोंकी प्रसन्नता बढ़ायेंगे
ayaṁ bhrātā tava śrīmān darśanīyo mahābhujaḥ | niyujyamāno vijaye saṅgatyā draviṇaṁ bahu | āhariṣyann ayaṁ nūnaṁ prītiṁ vo vardhayiṣyati ||
Yudhiṣṭhira disse: “Este vosso irmão, Arjuna, é ilustre—belo de se ver e de braços poderosos. Se for designado para a tarefa de conquistar a vitória, então, por boa fortuna e por meio de aliança, certamente trará de volta abundantes riquezas e aumentará a vossa satisfação.”
युधिछिर उवाच
The verse highlights a kingly-ethical calculus: recognizing merit (Arjuna’s strength and capability) and assigning the right person to the right duty so that collective welfare—victory, prosperity, and social harmony—may increase through cooperation and alliance.
Yudhiṣṭhira speaks to others (addressed as “you all”), commending Arjuna’s qualities and proposing that if Arjuna is entrusted with the enterprise of conquest, he will, aided by favorable fortune and partnership, secure abundant wealth and thereby please and benefit the group.
