Ādi Parva, Adhyāya 113 — Maryādā-sthāpana (Śvetaketu’s Boundary) and the Niyoga Deliberation of Pāṇḍu and Kuntī

स तूर्यशतशड्खानां भेरीणां च महास्वनै: । हर्षयन्‌ सर्वश: पौरान्‌ विवेश गजसाह्वयम्‌,सैकड़ों शंख, तुरही एवं नगारोंकी तुमुल ध्वनिसे समस्त पुरवासियोंको आनन्दित करते हुए पाण्डुने हस्तिनापुरमें प्रवेश किया

sa tūryaśataśaṅkhānāṃ bherīṇāṃ ca mahāsvanaiḥ | harṣayan sarvaśaḥ paurān viveśa gajasāhvayam ||

Vaiśampāyana disse: Em meio ao clamor poderoso de centenas de trombetas e conchas, e ao grande estrondo dos tambores, Pāṇḍu entrou em Gajasāhvaya (Hastināpura), alegrando os habitantes por todos os lados. A cena ressalta o retorno público de um rei como momento de júbilo cívico e de confiança partilhada num governo conforme ao dharma.
