न तस्य शक्यते वक्तुं पुण्यं शतयुगैरपि जीर्णं वा पतितं वापि खण्डितं स्फुटितं तथा

Transliteration

na tasya śakyate vaktuṃ puṇyaṃ śatayugairapi jīrṇaṃ vā patitaṃ vāpi khaṇḍitaṃ sphuṭitaṃ tathā

Translation

O mérito sagrado que nasce do culto ao Śiva-liṅga não pode ser plenamente descrito, ainda que ao longo de cem yugas. Mesmo que o liṅga seja antigo, tenha caído, esteja quebrado ou rachado, a adoração oferecida com bhakti produz fruto infalível.
