Adhyaya 72 — Puradāha: Rudra’s Cosmic Chariot, Pāśupata-Vrata, and Brahmā’s Shiva-Stuti
Suta Goswami (narrating a Shaiva stuti within the Linga Purana’s Purva-Bhaga framework)
It frames the Linga as the sign of the all-pervading Pati (Shiva) who indwells all beings and is honored by all devas—supporting Linga-puja as worship of the universal Lord, not a limited deity.
Shiva is presented as sarvabhūtamaya (immanent in all pashus/beings) and sarvadevamaya (the inner essence of all divine powers), indicating non-dual lordship where all gods function through His śakti.
A stuti-oriented practice: repeating such names in japa and offering namaskāra in Linga-puja, while contemplating Shiva’s all-pervasion—an inner discipline aligned with Pashupata Yoga’s shift from pasha-bound identity to Pati-consciousness.
