Adhyaya 71: पुरत्रयवृत्तान्तः—ब्रह्मवरदानम्, मयकृतत्रिपुर-निर्माणम्, विष्णुमाया-धर्मविघ्नः, शिवस्तुति, त्रिपुरदाहोपक्रमः

ततः प्रणम्य देवेशं भूतसंघाः पुरत्रयम् प्रविश्य नष्टास्ते सर्वे शलभा इव पावकम्

Transliteration

tataḥ praṇamya deveśaṃ bhūtasaṃghāḥ puratrayam praviśya naṣṭāste sarve śalabhā iva pāvakam

Translation

Então, após se prostrarem diante do Senhor dos Devas, as hostes de Bhūtas entraram nas três cidades (Tripura) e foram todas destruídas, como mariposas que se lançam a uma chama ardente.
