Shloka 42

Adhyaya 71: पुरत्रयवृत्तान्तः—ब्रह्मवरदानम्, मयकृतत्रिपुर-निर्माणम्, विष्णुमाया-धर्मविघ्नः, शिवस्तुति, त्रिपुरदाहोपक्रमः

ततो यज्ञः स्मृतस्तेन देवकार्यार्थसिद्धये देवं ते पुरुषं चैव प्रणेमुस्तुष्टुवुस्तदा

tato yajñaḥ smṛtastena devakāryārthasiddhaye devaṃ te puruṣaṃ caiva praṇemustuṣṭuvustadā

Depois, visando cumprir o propósito divino dos deuses, ele instituiu um rito sacrificial (yajña). Então eles se prostraram diante daquela Deidade—o Purusha supremo (Pati)—e, naquele momento, O louvaram com hinos.
