अर्धमासांश् च मासांश् च अयनाब्दयुगानि च स्थानाभिमानिनः सर्वे स्थानाख्याश्चैव ते स्मृताः
Transliteration
ardhamāsāṃś ca māsāṃś ca ayanābdayugāni ca sthānābhimāninaḥ sarve sthānākhyāścaiva te smṛtāḥ
Translation
As quinzenas, os meses, os cursos do ayana (solstícios), os anos e os yuga—todos possuem inteligências regentes que se identificam com tais estações; por isso são lembrados como divindades conhecidas pelos próprios nomes dessas moradas cósmicas.
